Days are short and outside it’s always cold and uncomfortable. That’s winter in Northern Germany. Is there anything better than to meet up with friends or colleagues, sit together and enjoy a hearty meal?
Your team of HEP offers you the Christmas celebration “Fondue and Tour of Lights” – a city tour with a fondue dinner afterwards. This is definitely an event different from all the other typical end-of-year parties.

The trip starts with a two-hour city tour by bus. Get to know Hamburg, the Hanseatic city at the Elbe River. Now during the pre-Christmas season the city already shines festively. The tour includes the harbor with the famous Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers), the landmarked Speicherstadt (old warehouse district) and the elegant HafenCity. Moreover, you will pass by the posh districts and streets on the banks of the Outer and Inner Alster with the town hall and the Jungfernstieg, Hamburg’s noble shopping boulevard. Also a stopover at the Reeperbahn, Germany’s “sinner’s mile” is also a part of the city tour.

Afterwards, you are brought to an earthy wine restaurant in close proximity to the train station Kellinghusenstraße where you are already welcomed by the delicious scent of a hot fondue. You have the choice:

Either you take the cheese fondue, which is originally from Switzerland and which is typically prepared with wine and kirsch. The meal is accompanied by bread and salad. Alternatively, you and your guests can choose meat fondue, which has a long tradition in Asia where meat and vegetables are cooked in so-called fire pots – fat free in hot broth. Besides various types of meat and vegetables you get dips, bread and salad. Soft drinks, beer and wine are already included in the price.

This Christmas celebration takes about 5 hours and is perfectly suited for 10 to 20 people. Gladly, we will also elaborate an offer for smaller groups upon request.
