Supporting programme in Hamburg

Last week, the Hanseatic Event Partner and the Dorint Hotel jointly organised a supporting programme for a management meeting.

Accompanied by a guide, the guests started an exclusive city tour in a minibus. The Hamburg city guide provided the guests with important information. About the history of the Hanseatic city, the various districts and the large port of Hamburg. Because little anecdotes and interested guests provided already in the morning at 09:00 clock for good mood in the bus.

The city tour was interrupted by an exclusive harbour tour in a traditional harbour launch. On a 2 hour trip through the port of Hamburg the captain of the barge presented the different corners of the harbour area as well as parts of the warehouse district (Speicherstadt). Due to good weather and rather mild temperatures most of the guests stayed outside during the whole time. From here you had an excellent view of the sights of the port of Hamburg. After this stopover the guests visited Krameramtsgasse. It is one of the oldest and most historic alleys of the Hanseatic city. In addition, the personal city guide accompanied the group to Hamburg’s Michel, the city’s landmark.

Furthermore, a short coffee break in the hotel was followed by a neighbourhood tour with a real Hamburg boy. In an hour and a half, the guests were given an insight into life on the most sinful mile in Hamburg. Afterwards a traditional menu was waiting for them in a restaurant directly on the Reeperbahn. The culmination of the supporting programme was a visit to the Tui Operettenhaus, where the Musical “Rocky” has been a guest for some time now. A good atmosphere and a relaxed atmosphere made this supporting programme a successful event.
