Sightseeing of a special kind

Last week the HEP organized a Sightseeing of a special kind for the company Vestas Deutschland GmbH as part of a teambuilding seminar. One thing was certain. The employees should not forget this extraordinary experience so quickly!

The team arrived at the cargo bridges at 10 am to get to know their extraordinary vehicles. After a safety briefing and the distribution of storm hoods and helmets, the cockpits of the soapboxes were climbed. The 13.6 hp vehicles are road-legal and can be driven by anyone with a valid Class B driving license. The group was led by a guide who guided them to Hamburg’s most important landmarks. Furthermore, you were in contact throughout via headsets in the helmet and learned all important information about the Hanseatic city.

A Scenic Journey Through Hamburg: From the Port to the Alster

The two-hour journey was a scenic tour, passing through the bustling port, modern Hafencity, and serene Alster, before returning to the historic cargo bridges.  Along the route, we passed some of Hamburg’s key landmarks, including the stunning skyline and iconic warehouses. The picturesque waterfront also offered a beautiful view throughout the journey. The journey offered a unique view, blending HafenCity’s modern architecture, the Alster’s beauty, and the port’s historic charm.

A Memorable Experience: Sharing Impressions and Creating Lasting Bonds in Hamburg

As the tour came to a close, everyone arrived safely and securely, eager to share their new impressions and experiences with colleagues. Conversations flowed as they reflected on the sights they had just seen. They exchanged thoughts and laughter about the stunning views and unforgettable moments. It was a perfect opportunity to bond with colleagues and create lasting memories. We sincerely hope that all participants enjoyed the experience, made new connections, and left with a deeper appreciation of Hamburg’s vibrant and diverse character.
