Christmas Party in the special Michel
Last week the HEP – Hanseatische Event Partner – organized a Christmas party of a special kind for 120 people in the Michel.
The event began in the early evening in the small Michel in Hamburg. Matching the pre-Christmas season, with a 45-minute classical organ concert. Together we went to the big Michel within a few minutes on foot. The Protestant main church Michaelis is the most famous church of the city and the landmark of Hamburg.
The guests were welcomed there at a height of 106 m on the platform with mulled wine and winter pastries. Three historically dressed city guides accompanied the group, who gave you information about the landmark of Hamburg. The weather was cold according to the season. Nevertheless, the air was clear so that the guests could enjoy a gigantic view over Hamburg’s roofs. A special highlight here is the Hamburg Cathedral in its brightly lit colours, the Elbe Philharmonic Hall and the Port of Hamburg. With a fantastic view with mulled wine, the cold became a minor matter and the guests were thrilled.
Afterwards it went down into the crypt of Michael. The guests ate a delicious 3-course Christmas menu. This was presented in the form of a generous buffet. Served at round tables. The sound of classical music matches the ambience.
Afterwards they danced to a DJ and celebrated. The crypt created here particularly due to the historical background and the unusual building method, a completely special ambience.
